Growing up, I was obsessed with behind the scenes footage of fantasy movies, and The Dark Crystal was my absolute number one favorite
I would watch the making-of on a loop for hours
I loved the crab monsters, the skeksies, gelfings, all of it
So I would watch every second of it I could get my hands on
And I was totally enamored by everything
But I was, like

And up until this exact moment I had totally forgotten multiple instances where I had to hide under my blanky with my hands over my ears and wait for my mom to tell me that the “yap-yap” was gone
